Cares Community Health, a private, non-profit organization, has an immediate opening for a full-time Site Manager for our community clinic. This position is responsible for coordinating all operational aspects of the practice. The Site Manager is expected to maximize effectiveness of all service delivery systems, financial performance and cultivation of a practice culture responsive to the health care environment.
Develops and implements a dynamic and efficient clinic infrastructure.
Plans, coordinates and direct s staff to meet clinical, administrative, operational and support requirements.
Administers established guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary.
Maintains accurate records pertaining to staff schedules including development and maintenance of scheduling templates for all providers.
Maintains provider capacity reports in order to monitor patient panels.
Reviews invoices, statements, receipts and charges for Clinical Operations and approves expenditures.
Works with outside agencies; approves monthly billing invoices for contracted provider services.
Provides coverage as needed for front desk reception.
Answers patient calls and other correspondence as appropriate.
Develops and implements strategies for efficient patient flow and cycle time.
Develops and implements processes to decrease wait time for patients, efficient communication methodologies to improve patient flow.
Aligns people and projects to achieve initiatives.
Works with staff to develop goals and objectives to improve performance.
Values cultural diversity and other individual differences in the workforce, creating a culture of compassion and sensitivity.
Develops staff through coaching, mentoring, and training.
Is responsible for hiring and progressive disciplinary action as appropriate.
Assists all staff in the interpretation of policies and procedures.
Assesses current and future staffing needs based on organizational goals.
Supports the organization by providing requested data and analytics to effectively evaluate operational performance.
Provides centralized control, coordination and management of the financial operational budget for the Department. Develops annual budget.
Monitors all financial expenditures in the clinic.
Identifies and implements cost-effective approaches while maintaining high standards for clinical care.
Commits to a focus on continuous improvement of workflow processes and procedures.
Analyzes fiscal performance to identify strategies to maximize revenue while optimizing efficiency.
Directs operational planning including programs, personnel, space and financial resources.
Develop projections for patient capacity and necessary resources to provide quality patient care.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration. (Other degrees considered).
2 years or more- Previous clinic manager experience in private practice/ FQHC.
Experience managing 5 or more front office staff.
Knowledge of clinic operations, including back office.
