Our state of the art medical, dental and vision services are built around a serenity garden. Inside the Health Village, we have a full service Pharmacy, WIC, Nutrition Services and a fitness center for our clients and staff. Our integrated medical home is one of the most special parts of our organization because of the involvement of our Behavioral Health and Community Health Department with the medical care teams. We have an enormous community garden which supplies many of our clients with nutritious food they would not otherwise have, and have a Farmer’s Market twice a week during the summer and fall months.

Role and Responsibilities:
The Corporate Compliance Officer (COO) is an executive level official that is responsible for the management and operations of the Compliance Program. The Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO) is hired, supervised, and evaluated by the Chief Executive Officer. The CCO’s principle duties are planning, implementing, and monitoring the Corporate Compliance Program. Coordination of compliance audit activities and communication of expectations and reporting results are the key functions of this position.
The successful candidate will be recognized for demonstrated knowledge in compliance process improvement which would include past healthcare compliance experience. Success factors:
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Have knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, and practices.
Have knowledge of auditing and monitoring procedures.
Have working knowledge with OIG guidance and expectations of entities that accept funding from/through the US
Department of Health & Human Services Agency.
Have working knowledge of California patient and individual privacy laws and regulations.
Clear, concise and persuasive writing and presentation skills.
Skills in use of information systems, databases, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
Enjoys working as a member of a cohesive team, and is effective at doing so.
