Marin Community Clinics (MCC) is a multi-clinic network with a wide array of primary care, specialty and referral services. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we provide vital health services to more than 35,000 insured and uninsured patients annually.

We are looking for a qualified Pediatrician to join our Pediatrics team. Ideal candidate will have direct patient-care experience in a community health or primary care setting. Candidate should have a desire to work with under-served communities and a passion for health education and primary care. This position offers the ability to see patients both independently and as a vital team member in an integrated primary care model.
Bilingual Spanish required.
Provides outpatient services for pediatric patients referred to or admitted by Marin Community Clinics
Cares for pediatric patients (ages 0-18 years old).
Conducts routine well-child care visits, urgent care and follow up appointments.
Provides supervision and consultation to mid-level pediatric practitioners working at the clinic.
Conducts pediatric inpatient hospital rounds at Marin General Hospital on a given weekday.
Participates in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director.
Participates in the direction and development of health care services provided by Marin Community Clinics as a member of the primary health care team.
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine.
Completion of a 3 year pediatrics residency.
Must have a valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine.
Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs.
Maintain valid credentialing status with Marin General Hospital.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to see up to 20 patients per full time schedule.
Prior experience working with under-served communities in a Community Health Clinic environment highly desirable.
Proficiency in medical Spanish required.
Experience with Electronic Health Records NextGen a plus.
Willingness to learn NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) software if no prior experience with software.
