Serve the People Community Health Center (STP-CHC) seeks a Medical Director to join our dedicated staff. We are seeking a professional who is committed to improving access and quality in this age of high tech and healthcare reform.
The newly appointed Medical Director will assist the Executive Director and the management team in implementing the Board of Director’s strategic goals which include:
Prepare STP-CHC for significant program expansion—in services, facilities, and staffing.
Implement population health management strategies and solutions specific to the needs and risk factors, especially for the most vulnerable in our communities.
Expand use of digital technologies to connect our patents with their care teams, monitor and manage their health, and gain access to critical services.
Maintain STP’s work culture that values teamwork, high standards of patient care, and recognition for jobs well done.
Move beyond the clinical walls to address social needs, such as food insecurity, and transportation.

ABOUT SERVE THE PEOPLE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER
Serve the People Community Health Center, is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center that values individuals who are dedicated and innovative. At STP-CHC we believe in "whole person" care and use a care team approach. Launched in 2009, our health center presently serves a total of 8,000 patients, many of which are, low income and uninsured. We offer a variety of comprehensive services including: family medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, optometry, behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed as a physician in the State of California; Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience managing multiple outpatient health clinic settings. Experience in a community health center setting working with underserved populations preferred.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing quality improvement programs, preferably in a managed care setting.
Demonstrated experience with Electronic Health Records.
